Good to know
- Sizes are after folding: the front is 1U (43.66 mm) and the depth runs from the front face to the back of the rear lip.
- Folded sizes are for our standard press-brake bends. With V-grooved bends the depth and lip come out 1 to 3 mm smaller; the 1U front stays the same.
- The shelf hangs from the front rails only. For heavy kit or a deep shelf, pick thicker sheet or support the back.
- Rack slots are 465.1 mm apart (EIA-310). M6 slots go on the middle hole: on the top and bottom holes they would leave under 3 mm of metal at the edge, our minimum.
- A small relief is cut where each rack ear meets the front fold, so the corners do not tear.
- Vent slots fill the shelf in rows, kept clear of the folds and the sides. A part has at most 100 openings.
