Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about ordering. The full terms you agree to are shown at checkout.
›What can I order?
Laser-cut and bent parts from your own STEP model or DXF drawing: brackets, mounting plates, gussets, enclosure and chassis panels, machine guards, flanges, shims, gaskets, signage and any other sheet-metal part. Plain sheet cut to size, with holes and cutouts if you need them. Folded angles, channels, custom sections, trays and frames, plus architectural pieces such as flashings, fluted panels and decorative screens. All in stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium, across a range of finishes and thicknesses.
›Which files do you take?
STEP models and DXF drawings, both priced instantly in the builder. A STEP model of a sheet-metal part (one solid body of even thickness) is unfolded automatically, bends and all, with our bend radius and K-factor for the material you pick and your outside dimensions kept; you can turn it over in 3-D and see the flat pattern. Countersunk holes are recognised and priced. A model we can’t unfold (formed features, counterbores, more than one body) can go through Request a quote and we price it by hand. We don’t take DWG, PDF or other formats; in your CAD app, save or export the part as STEP or DXF.
›How does pricing work?
The price is calculated instantly as you configure each piece: material, folds, length, laser cutouts and finishing options all update the total live. What you see in the order summary is what you pay.
›Are the measurements inside or outside dimensions?
All face widths you enter are OUTSIDE dimensions (OD), measured across the outside of each face. The builder shows the derived inside dimensions (ID) under the inputs so you can cross-check against an opening.
›What colour finishes are available?
Metallic (PVD) finishes are available on stainless steel, with a choice of how much of the piece is covered, from a single side up to both sides plus cut edges. Powdercoat is available in a range of colours and always comes as the complete finish. Pricing and any extra lead time are shown right when you pick a colour.
›Will colours match between orders?
Colour and finish can vary slightly between production batches. Order all pieces for the same project together, ideally in one order, so they are produced in the same batch.
›How long does my order take?
Each lead-time option shows the date your order is ready at our shop, to collect or to hand to the courier. Bare-metal pieces are fabricated on the normal schedule. Colour-finished pieces can add extra working days, and the exact number is shown in the builder when you choose the finish.
›How does delivery work?
Choose delivery to your zone or free self-pickup from our workshop at checkout. Deliveries go by courier. The ready date shown is when your order is ready at our shop, to collect or to hand to the courier. Delivery takes another 1 to 3 days, depending on your location and courier. When your parcel is booked with the courier we email you the tracking number, and status updates from the courier appear on your order page. Deliveries are made before 2pm. Full payment is required before anything is delivered.
›How can I pay?
Online at checkout, by card or, where the checkout offers it, by FPX online banking from your Malaysian bank account. Need the invoice in your company's name? Tick “I need the invoice in a company name” at checkout and add the company name, and if you like your registration and tax numbers and your purchase order (PO) number. They are printed on the Invoice / Official Receipt we email for every payment.
›Can I pay a deposit?
Larger orders can be placed with a part payment. When your order qualifies, the checkout shows the deposit amount. The balance is payable before delivery or collection: open your order from the link in your email, or from your account if you have one, and pay the balance there.
›Can I change or cancel an order?
Once an order is in production it cannot be stopped, changed or refunded, because material is cut to your sizes. Double-check dimensions and quantities on the review page before paying.
›Are rectangular frames welded together?
No. A frame is supplied as 4 loose mitred pieces, cut and folded with the 45° corners ready to meet, but the corners are NOT welded or assembled. You join the frame together yourself on site (rivet, screw, adhesive or weld as your project needs).
›How accurate are folded pieces?
Folded pieces are held to ±0.5 mm on flange dimensions and ±1° on bend angles. If a part must mate with something tight, size it with the tolerance in mind.
›Where are your terms and privacy notice?
The terms of sale collect everything you agree to when you order: the order terms shown at checkout, quotes and prices, payment, lead times, delivery and collection, and changes and refunds. The privacy notice explains what personal data the site collects, why, how long it is kept, who it is shared with and your rights under Malaysia’s PDPA.
