Good to know
- Sizes are after folding, to the outside corners of the bends.
- The screw holes stay above the tip of the hook, so a screwdriver reaches them straight on.
- Countersunk holes take flat-head screws: #6 (3.5 mm) by default, which suit 5 or 6 mm wall plugs. #8 and #10 countersinks are deep for 3 mm sheet, so we check them with you.
- Plain holes are 4.5 mm clearance for #8 or M4 round-head screws.
- The ends of the strip are cut square; we break the sharp edges when we deburr.
- For a hook that carries weight choose press-brake bends rather than V-grooved ones: a V-groove leaves only a thin web of metal at the bend.
